Ortho-Flex Saddles (no specific discipline):~nl~I am probably bias in my opinion but I do not think there is another saddle out there that is kinder to a horse's back. Any conventional saddle is held on the horse by the tree. Four points, two in front over the withers and two in rear over the loin area or just in front of the loins. Those four points are all that is holding the saddle in place. OF uses reactor panels which distribute the weight of the rider over the whole back of the horse. Therefore adjusting your weight on the horse over the whole back of the horse also. It is so many pounds per square. I have seen horses with bad attitudes turn from ugly to very good and well broke horses within two days of riding in a saddle that did not hurt them. As for me, I have MS and the muscle tone is not what it used to be. I can not sit in any saddle no matter the make, for longer than 5 min without my butt bones hurting. In an OF - I can ride four to six hours without a problem... Praise the Lord! At any rate, no other saddle will ever go on my horses again except Ortho-flexs.-- Mare ~nl~http://www.orthoflex-central.com~nl~http://www.saddles.org
